Santa Fe Sunsets
PS1
I love PS1 it is one of my favorite spaces in New York City. They have got an assortment of exhibits on right now that are all interesting. I started with the Xavier La Roy Retrospective that is totally engaging and inclusive. If you have a chance stick around and listen to one of the performance artists conversations, you really learn a lot about that person that is not normally put forth. Bob and Roberta Smiths "Art Amnesty" is a fun call to artists. You may submit your art work and declare no longer being an artist sparing us all of your terrible creations. Zero Tolerance is a great installation of various artists worlwide that are making political statements through there work through various acts. Alas, Francesco Vezzoli's "Teatro Romano" busts are beautiful and slightly garrish yet appear as they would have some two thousand years ago.
Always remember to 'LOOK CLOSER.' Check out the rest of the collection of small works at Santa Fe Collective.
Tom Ford's Style Rules
Some basic style rules suggested by Mr. Ford:
• Be confident.
• Button your jacket. It takes 20 pounds off your silhouette.
• Never button more than one button on a jacket.
• Know yourself and know what you like. That'll be your signature.
• Americans have grown too accustomed to being comfortable. I find a different kind of comfort when I know I look good.
• You can't wear trendy clothes forever. Everyone has to grow up sometime.
• That being said, Mick Jagger can wear pretty much anything he wants. It's all about your personality.

New Bill Proposes Auction Royalties for Artists
When a collector makes a hefty profit in reselling a contemporary painting or sculpture, the artist rarely benefits. Hoping to change that, three lawmakers introduced legislation on Wednesday that would allow artists to share in those proceeds. The bill proposes that artists receive 5 percent of the price of art that is resold at public auction for more than $5,000. Named the American Royalties Too act (so as to have the catchy abbreviation A.R.T.), the bill is a revised version of legislation that Representative Jerrold Nadler of New York, the ranking Democrat on the Courts, Intellectual Property, and Internet subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee, introduced in 2011.
